Social Stories, Comic Strip Conversations und Alternativboards
Autistische Menschen entwickeln sich unter anderen Ausgangsbedingungen. Ihre Art der Wahrnehmung und des Denkens beeinflusst auch die Entwicklung der sozialen Kompetenzen. Die Vorhersehbarkeit von Sozialen Situationen ist erschwert, ebenso die Fähigkeit, sich in die Lage des Gegenübers zu versetzen (Soziale Perspektivenübernahme). Dies kann zu Missverständnissen und frustrierenden zwischenmenschlichen Erlebnissen führen.
Die Konzepte «Social Stories» und «Comic Strip Conversations» wurden von Carol Gray entwickelt und entsprechen den Prinzipen der TEACCH Philosophie (strukturieren, visualisieren, fokussieren und individualisieren). Dazu passt bestens das Konzept der «Alternativboards», nach Brown/Mirenda. Diese Konzepte eignen sich hervorragend, um autistische (aber auch neurotypische) Menschen in der Kommunikation und Interaktion zu unterstützen sowie soziales Wissen und soziale Handlungsmöglichkeiten aufzubauen – für ein besseres gegenseitiges Verstehen und ‘Verstanden werden’!
Susanne Enggist stellt die Konzepte vor und macht Alltagsbeispiele dazu. Sie haben die Gelegenheit Fragen zu stellen.
In der Pause besteht die Gelegenheit, Material anzuschauen.
